I’m Cynthia Harris, Founder & Managing Director of 8:28 Insights and now… the host of Research Revealed!
With nearly two decades of experience spanning brand strategy, cultural insights, and consumer research, I’ve built a career helping some of the world’s most recognizable brands understand their audiences and show up more meaningfully in the marketplace.
Before founding 8:28, I held client-side and agency-side roles at companies like Procter & Gamble and McCormick, where I led strategy and insight work across global markets. My journey has taken me from ethnographic work in Beijing to brand-building sessions in New York City, all grounded in one central truth: when we understand people more deeply, we make better marketing decisions and connect more meaningfully with consumers.
8:28 Insights was born out of my desire to combine cultural intelligence with real-world strategy. And now, with Research Revealed, I’m pulling back the curtain on the kinds of conversations I’ve been lucky to have with the brightest minds in our industry—so that more people can learn, grow, and navigate the future of insights with more confidence, clarity, and humanity.
